Provision of designs

  • All designs available on this site, are designed and produced by third-parties, and are all available under the Creative Commons 2.5 Licence. Under the licence, the design templates can be distributed, shared and adapted to meet the client's needs. However, in the case of 'standard' templates, a link back to the original author should be placed somewhere in the website using the template.

    Why do we use these templates?
    The use of pre-designed templates dramtically reduces the design and development time required for a website, and this in turn reduces the cost to you, our client.

Packages and hosting

  • Except where specified, all of our packages include half-price hosting on our server for one year. Hosting is charged as an extra to the package, so you will pay the package price, plus 50% of the current hosting price in the first year. In subsequent years you will be asked to pay the full hosting price if you wish to maintain your hosting with us.
  • You may, at your option, host your website with another provider. However this will not affect the package price.

Domain names

  • Registration of a .uk domain name is included free with some of our packages, and you may either use this with our hosting accounts, or redirect it at a hosting account provided by a third party.
  • Other domain names are not included in the package price.
  • You may request other domain names if you wish, but these will be supplemental to the package price.

Browser compatibility

  • Due to the withdrawal of Internet Explorer 6 by Microsoft, we will no longer support this browser, unless you specifically require us to do so, which will incur an extra charge.
  • Supported browsers include: Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2 and 3, Opera and Safari

Testing

  • All website development will be performed on either an Apple Macintosh, or a Windows XP PC.
  • Other platforms such as Linux and Unix are not supported.

Payment terms and ordering

  • For projects totalling over £500, we will require a 50% deposit before commencement of work, with the remainder due on completion of the project
  • We will also require a signed order from you before commencement of work.
